The Apothecary’s Table: An Earthy, Enchanting Tablescape
There’s something magical about blending earth, elegance, and a touch of apothecary charm. Our latest tablescape, The Apothecary’s Table, was inspired by the natural beauty around us and designed to bring an earthy, apothecary look right to your table.
We hosted this gathering at the scenic and majestic Kootenay Lake, tucked into the garden-like setting of our dear friend Connie’s cabin. The setting felt perfect for our Virgo Dinner Experience—close to the earth, grounded in nature, and surrounded by Mother Nature as the most beautiful backdrop and the most important décor.
How We Styled the Apothecary’s Table
To create the look, we started with a delicate lace tablecloth layered with woven placemats for texture. Vintage-inspired coloured goblet glasses in shades of light green and soft lilac added a hint of whimsy and felt like little potions catching the candlelight.
The centrepiece was one of our favourite elements: tall cylinder vases with floating herbs and flickering candles, creating a soft glow that carried the apothecary theme with elegance. Scattered throughout were apothecary bottles in tones of green and gold, each one adding charm and a hint of curiosity to the table.
Bringing in the Apothecary Vibe
Because this was all about connecting with the earth, we included an essential oil blending station so guests could craft their own little take-home treasures. This was such a beautiful way to tie into the apothecary feel and bring intention into the gathering.
